Roles
We’re currently seeking enthusiastic and caring Child‑care Practitioners to work in a local Creche. The roles will be Creche Assistants and Creche Leaders.
Responsibilities
* Ensure the overall safety and well‑being of the child/children and staff within your care.
* Report any safeguarding issues to the Designated Safeguarding Lead.
* Complete relevant Safeguarding forms and send them to Head Office.
* Report any accidents/incidents and concerns to the Setting Manager/Childcare Manager.
* Complete a risk assessment on arrival for every creche that you lead, and upload or email to the Childcare department.
* Set up the creche room/venue in adequate time before the start of the creche.
* Follow paperwork procedures.
* At the end of the creche, ensure all paperwork is completed and pack away all creche kit appropriately.
Requirements
* Level 2/3 qualification in Childcare, Early Years Education or equivalent.
* Previous experience working in a Creche environment.
* Strong understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding policies.
* Warm, nurturing, and energetic personality.
* Good communication skills and a team mindset.
* Enhanced DBS on the update service.
* Completion of mandatory training within the probation period (training provided).
