Area Sales Manager - South Wales, Gloucestershire, Hereford and Worcestershire
An all-round management position with responsibility for Domestic, Industrial, Commercial, and Emergency Lighting sales, directly into electrical wholesalers. We seek a focused, energetic, and passionate sales professional with a success-driven attitude. You will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing key accounts, and developing new business within an assigned geographic area. Building relationships with local electrical contractors will be key to creating an effective push/pull sales model.
Main Duties
1. Territory sales of all Ovia Ltd products into distributors within the designated area (Push/Pull model).
2. Proactive support to local contractors, including joint sales calls, trade counter mornings, ECA branch meetings, and product training.
3. Identify and develop sales opportunities with existing and new accounts within Ovia’s trading philosophy.
4. Manage own schedule and administrative tasks, ensuring adherence to company policies.
5. Utilize appropriate tools and strategies to achieve the best results with customers.
6. Build and maintain strong relationships with electrical distributors and contractors.
7. Manage existing accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction.
Skills and Experience
* Full, preferably clean, driving license.
* Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
* Ability to identify and develop opportunities with existing and new accounts within the company's trading philosophy.
* Dynamic approach and strong work ethic.
