Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a detail-oriented Procurement Analyst to support a busy procurement function within a regulated environment. This role provides critical analytical, reporting, and administrative support to ensure procurement activities deliver cost efficiency, compliance, and service improvement.
You will play a key role in transforming procurement data into actionable insight, supporting tender processes, maintaining contract records, and monitoring supplier performance.
Key Responsibilities
Produce procurement dashboards, spend analysis, savings reports, and supplier performance metrics
Maintain accurate procurement data, contract registers, and analytics tools
Support tender processes by preparing documentation, analysing bids, and scoring supplier responses
Conduct market research to inform procurement decisions and risk assessments
Monitor supplier KPIs and escalate concerns to the Procurement Manager
Support procurement planning, including demand forecasting and budget tracking
Ensure supplier records, compliance documentation, and safeguarding checks are up to date
Identify data anomalies, trends, and risks within procurement datasets
Provide insight to support cost reduction and service improvement initiatives
Authority to request supplier information and supporting data
No financial approval authority
Responsibility to escalate supplier risks, issues, or anomalies
Essential Experience & Qualifications
Strong data analysis capability with advanced Excel skills
Experience in procurement, supply chain, finance, or analytical roles
Ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insights
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Desirable
Experience within healthcare or clinical procurement
Exposure to tendering processes or contract management
Familiarity with procurement or reporting systems
