Job Overview An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated midwife to join the Inpatient team as a Band 7 Antenatal Ward Sister at Frimley Park Hospital for approximately 12 months. You will be required to lead on all aspects of antenatal care and you will provide clinical leadership within the Antenatal Ward. This post provided a unique opportunity for personal, professional and service development. You will work closely with the multi disciplinary team within the unit and community. Main duties of the job The post holder will be a registered midwife able to fulfill the role with the ability to make decisions within current protocols and principles of care in compliance with the NMC Midwives Rules and Code of Practice and unit guidelines. This midwife will be an experienced midwife but she/he will be expected to continue with post-registration education and development expands their knowledge and skill set further. The post holder will be expected to participate in the hospital hands on help on call rota/senior midwife rota.
