Job Description
We are currently seeking experienced Painters and Decorators to join our team on a self-employed basis. Successful candidates will be involved in decorating modular buildings. This job is working on a new school on London Road in Wellingborough NN8 2DQ.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out all aspects of internal emulsion painting and decorating to a high standard.
* Prepare surfaces through sanding, filling, priming, and undercoating.
* Apply paint and finish.
* Work from drawings and instructions to meet project requirements.
* Ensure tools and materials are used and maintained correctly.
* Adhere strictly to on-site safety and security protocols.
* Work efficiently as part of a team to meet deadlines.
Requirements
* Must be registered as Self-employed and registered for CIS.
* In-date CSCS card (mandatory).
* Proven experience in Painting and Decorating (including commercial or modular projects preferred).
* Own PPE, tools, and own reliable transport is a MUST (branded hi-vis will be provided and is required for H&S protocols.
* Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
* Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship.
* Good communication skills in the English Language are a MUST.
