FutureGen Recruitment is representing a leading Yorkshireplanning consultancy seeking an MRTPI Associate Planner to take a key role indelivering major residential planning projects and supporting the continuedgrowth of the Leeds team.
This is a pivotal appointment within the business. Thesuccessful candidate will combine high-level planning delivery with leadership,client management and commercial responsibilities.
The Role
As an Associate Planner, you will be responsible for bothproject delivery and team development.
Key responsibilities include:
* Leadingstrategic residential planning projects and regeneration schemes
* Managingkey client relationships, ensuring repeat business and satisfaction
* OverseeingLocal Plan promotion strategies and landowner submissions
* Supportingand managing planning appeals and hearing preparation
* Mentoringjunior planners and supporting career development
* Supportingfee proposals, tender submissions and client pitches
* Managingproject timelines, budgets and consultant coordination
This is a role offering clear progression toward AssociateDirector.

* Strongbackground in consultancy, developer or local authority planning
* Provenability to manage clients and lead projects independently
* Strongleadership qualities and mentoring experience
* Commerciallyminded with interest in business growth and client development
