This school is seeking a passionate and dynamic Geography Teacher to join their Humanities faculty. This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who wants to inspire students to think critically about the world around them — from physical landscapes to global challenges. Beginning September 2025.
Duties as a Geography Teacher:
* Deliver engaging and thought-provoking lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 desirable).
* Develop students’ understanding of both physical and human geography topics.
* Foster curiosity, enquiry skills, and environmental awareness.
* Track and assess student progress, using data to inform teaching and intervention.
* Contribute to curriculum development and geography-related enrichment opportunities, including trips and fieldwork.
* Support the school’s ethos and contribute positively to wider school life.
Ideal Geography Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
* A strong academic background and passion for geography.
* The ability to deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching.
* Excellent subject knowledge and up-to-date understanding of curriculum requirements.
* A commitment to pupil achievement, well-being, and personal development.
* Good teamwork, communication and classroom management skills as a Geography Teacher.
