Job Description
As Service Sales & Delivery Manager UK you will be responsible for strategic planning and execution, as well as overall leadership of the regional Service team in alignment with global service strategy and business objectives. You will direct regional planning, organization, and execution for both service delivery and sales functions to achieve sales orders, revenue, and customer satisfaction. Through local management, you will deploy technical resources to deliver superior on-site services and an enhanced customer experience. This role covers both direct channel and regional Business Partner sales and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Service Sales
* Develop regional Service AOP targets aligned with customer demand and business objectives
* Execute regional booking plans and manage pipeline to forecast future business
* Build and develop a regional sales organization to achieve market coverage and growth targets
* Recommend strategies to expand market share and capture new markets
* Actively lead pursuit teams for strategic accounts
* Resolve customer disputes and identify opportunities for future growth
* Ensure consistent product and sales training for staff
Service Delivery
* Provide overall leadership for Service Delivery and enabling processes
* Lead regional service managers to optimize resource deployment and ensure schedule attainment
* relationships and resolve significant service-related issues
* Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards
* Oversee training for Field Service Engineers to enhance customer satisfaction
* Communicate cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve serviceability
Management
* Develop and manage a high-performing sales and service organization
* Determine staffing and skill requirements and implement development plans
* Manage regional budgets and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
Your Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline; MBA preferred
* Minimum 15 years in Sales and/or Service Delivery, with at least 7 years in leadership roles
* Strong leadership skills and ability to manage managers
* Proven ability to hire, train, and develop top-performing teams
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
* Strong computer skills and technical aptitude
* Willingness to travel 30–50%
* Strong presentation skills
