Interim Senior People & Culture Lead
12-month FTC | Hybrid Chippenham base with travel across the South West
We’re looking for a People & Culture professional who enjoys stepping into complex environments, building strong relationships with senior leaders and making things happen.
This role sits alongside Regional Directors across multiple services and is focused on helping leaders connect their people strategy with operational performance.
It’s not a policy role. It’s about influence, coaching and embedding change.
You’ll spend time out across the businesses alongside a small team, working with leaders, helping them strengthen leadership capability, improve performance and ensure transformation programmes actually stick.

What the role involves
• Partnering Regional Directors to align people strategy with operational priorities
• Building tailored people plans that support performance and culture
• Embedding organisational change and strengthening leadership capability
• Coaching managers on absence, performance and engagement
• Using people data and insight to support better decision making
• Being visible across services and building trusted relationships with leaders
What we’re looking for
• Experienced HRBP / People & Culture leader
• Strong credibility with senior operational leaders
• Experience embedding change and transformation
• Comfortable using people data to influence decisions
• Pragmatic, resilient and commercially aware
• CIPD Level 7 (or equivalent experience)
This is a 12-month maternity cover, ideal for someone who enjoys stepping into complex environments and delivering meaningful change.
