We have been assigned by one of the UK's more prestigious NHS Trusts to help them recruit a Consultant Psychiatrist on either a Substantive or an NHS Fixed Term basis for 12 months to join their successful department.
Our client are one of the largest trusts providing physical health and mental health services in the North West, serving more than 11 million people. They offer specialist inpatient and community services that support physical and mental health and specialist inpatient mental health, learning disability, addiction and brain injury services with our client being one of only three trusts in the UK that offer high secure mental health facilities.
The successful appointee will be asked to fulfil various duties, such as: Regular formal ward reviews, throughout the week, including discharge planning, Attendance at Case Conferences, CPA and Section 117 reviews as required ,Liaison clinics, Administration, audit and training as appropriate, Attendance at Continuing Professional Development meetings and mandatory training events & Mental Health Tribunal attendance
