Your newpanyYou will be joining a leading contractor delivering key civils works on a live water treatment facility. With a strong presence across major UK water frameworks, they require an experienced Site Engineer to support delivery on a critical infrastructure project.
Your new role
As a Site Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting site operations, with a strong focus on setting out, quality assurance and documentation across civils packages.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Carrying out all aspects of site setting out using total station, GPS and survey equipment
2. Ensuring accurate implementation of design drawings and specifications on site
3. Producing and maintaining quality documentation, including ITPs, as-built records and QA files
4. Supporting the management of subcontractors and coordinating daily site activities
5. Raising and managing technical queries (TQs) and RFIs
6. Assisting with programme delivery and reporting progress to the Site Manager / Project Manager
7. Reviewing and implementing RAMS and ensuring safe systems of work are followed
8. Maintaining accurate records including site diaries, surveys and quality reports
What you'll need to succeed
9. Proven experience as a Site Engineer within civil engineering or water infrastructure projects
10. Strong background in setting out (drainage, concrete works, utilities, treatment structures)
11. Experience managing QA documentation including ITPs, as-builts, and quality records
12. Ability to interpret engineering drawings and deliver works to specification
13. Experience working on live operational or regulated sites
Qualifications / Skills:
14. CSCS Card
15. SSSTS or SMSTS (desirable)
