We are looking for a skilled Site Engineer to join their service team. This is a great opportunity to be the face of our client, providing essential engineering support and building strong relationships at a key customer site in Kilmarnock. The Purpose of the Role:
As our Site Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring their customer's machinery operates at peak performance. You will deliver a first-class engineering service through corrective and preventative maintenance. Your broad technical knowledge and excellent customer-facing skills will be key to maintaining the highest levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
* Perform methodical diagnosis, repair, and testing of electromechanical equipment to achieve a speedy first-time fix on all breakdowns.
* Conduct planned and preventative maintenance in strict accordance with OEM requirements.
* Maintain accurate records of parts usage, inventory, and all service reports.
* Ensure full compliance with all CPS and customer Health & Safety regulations at all times.
* Build and maintain strong professional relationships with the customer, acting as a representative of our client in daily interactions and meetings.
* Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for service, reliability, and performance improvements.
What We're Looking For (Qualifications & Experience):
* Educated to a Mechanical/Electrical Degree, Diploma level, Apprenticeship is essential
* Strong PC literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* An electrical qualification is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* A highly professional, flexible, and positive attitude with a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.
