A high profile central London estate is seeking an experienced Commercial Asset Manager to join the business as maternity cover for 15 months starting no later than mid-September. The role will be work across all sectors under management however, particular focus will be on driving performance of the Estate’s directly managed retail portfolio. The role’s objectives will include minimalizing vacancies, delivering long term income growth and maintaining tenant retention rates.
Working with the Head of Commercial Property and supported by a Graduate Asset Manager, the individual will be expected to co-ordinate success across the retail portfolio as well as contribute to asset performance across other sectors under management. Specific role tasks will include:
* To extract added value and maintain and improve income from the Estate’s commercial property portfolio.
* To prioritise excellent customer service in all aspects of day to day asset management.
* To contribute to the formulation of long and short term strategies of the Estate.
* To carry out detailed analysis of the performance of the portfolio.
Person Specification
* Fully RICS Qualified
* Strong understanding of the commercial property leasing market
* Working knowledge of the London property market
* Recent experience of the London retail leasing market
* Proven line management experience of asset management (or equivalent property roles)
Remuneration
The salary for this role is dependant on prior experience and in additional this individual will receive full corporate benefits.
