Role
Support Worker – Children & Young People (Domiciliary Care)
We provide compassionate, reliable care to children and young people with autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and complex health or behavioural challenges.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver tailored care and support in line with individual care plans
* Assist with personal care, medication, and daily living tasks
* Support participation in community activities and social engagement
* Provide specialist support for autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, and complex needs
* Promote independence, wellbeing, and safeguarding at all times
* Maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with families and professionals
About You
* Experience supporting children and young people with additional needs (autism, epilepsy, learning disabilities, or complex needs) – added advantage
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust
* Flexible approach to working hours and tasks
* Empathetic, patient, and genuinely committed to delivering high‑quality support
* Understanding of safeguarding and person‑centred care principles
* Able to work independently and as part of a team
* Willingness to undertake specialist training as required
Essential Requirements
* Must hold a valid Full driving licence and have access to your own car (essential)
* Must have the right to work in the UK
* Post subject to satisfactory Enhanced DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check
