Are you an expert in AUTOSAR Classic Base Software with a passion for architecting high‑performance, safety‑critical embedded systems? Our client is seeking an AUTOSAR Base Software Architect to define, own, and govern BSW architecture across multiple ECU platforms. This role provides deep technical leadership, working closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, scalable, and safety‑compliant automotive software solutions.
Responsibilities
* Define, maintain, and govern the AUTOSAR Classic Base Software architecture across ECU platforms.
* Configure and integrate core BSW modules including MCAL, OS, COM stack, Diagnostics, NVM, and memory services.
* Lead technical reviews, architecture discussions, and design decisions across the organisation.
* Support ECU bring‑up, troubleshooting, and integration with application software on target hardware.
* Ensure alignment with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and internal software development processes.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in AUTOSAR Classic BSW architecture, configuration, and integration.
* Deep understanding of embedded real‑time systems, microcontrollers, and automotive ECU environments.
* Proven ability to integrate high‑speed control algorithms via AUTOSAR Classic CDDs.
* Expertise in timing behaviour: ISR design, scheduling, jitter control, CPU load analysis, and optimisation.
* Strong knowledge of motor‑control‑critical peripherals (PWM, ADC, DMA, timers, sensors, encoders).
* Clear communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence technical direction.
