About the role The Resolution Law, Uninsured Loss Recoveries (ULR) team handle Road Traffic Accident cases that have been set up directly by the File Inception Team.The primary need of these cases is to calculate the level of damage incurred, obtaining documents and evidence to support the claims and thereafter, submitting the information via the RTA and OIC Portal.The aim of the work within the ULR Team is to prepare the matter for settlement and to achieve as the settlement as swiftly as possible. Responsibilities: To run and manage a caseload of pre-litigated and some litigated RTA portal claims using the Solcase system Prioritise work effectively, ensuring matters are progressed within the time frames demanded by the clients and the firm Achieve time recording targets, split between chargeable and investment time in any one financial year To understand client requirements and manage cases in line with service level agreements and, best practice Record expenses and special damages onto Solcase system in all cases as required Where a damages cheque and resolution cannot be obtained swiftly and within the required time frames to identify this and raise appropriately in order that the matter can be moved to suitable alternative team Develop increased levels of technical and commercial knowledge via training or supervised working practices The role is hybrid and we would expect the successful candidate to travel in to the Liverpool office once every 2 weeks. About you This role is an entry level position, and an ideal candidate will have experience working in a similar environment. As well as: The ability to work under the instruction of senior team members Demonstrate capability of communicating strongly and clearly with clients to obtain information, both verbally and in writing Be able to prioritise tasks in accordance of risk Demonstrate capability of communicating strongly and clearly with clients to obtain information, both verbally and in writing Desirable: Experience in running a caseload of Road Traffic Accident (RTA) Insurance work, preferably from a claimant perspective.
