Due to continuous growth, they are looking for a Senior Electrical Design Engineer to join their Glasgow office.
Role Overview
As a Senior Electrical Design Engineer you will be at the forefront of electrical design innovation, delivering projects from concept to completion across a variety of sectors, while ensuring that your designs meet the highest standards of compliance and quality.
You will be responsible for:
Leading the electrical design for power, lighting, fire alarm, security, data systems, etc.
Producing drawings, calculations, and technical specifications.
Liaising with clients and multidisciplinary teams as required to meet project demands.
Supporting project delivery from feasibility to handover, including conducting site inspections.
Mentoring junior engineers and contributing to the wider team development.
Promoting sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.
Requirements
A degree in Building Services Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design within building services,
Experience in team leadership/management and project leadership in a consultancy environment.
Proficiency with industry standard software: AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, Amtech, etc.
Strong understanding of UK building regulations and CIBSE/IET/BS standards.
Excellent communication, leadership, and coordination skills.
