We have been retained by one of Birmingham’s leading independent schools to recruit a marketing professional to lead and develop all elements of the school’s marketing, admissions and communications strategy.
Reporting to the Head Master, as part of the senior leadership team, this role will combine brand development, external communications, social media, editorial responsibility, events and public relations.
The admissions part of the role will involve driving and overseeing pupil recruitment activities from first contact, through arranging tours and open days, to pupils joining the school.
This is a very hands-on role leading a small team and you be fully integrated with the day-to-day life of the school’s activities.
We are looking for a true marketing generalist who has a proven track record of creating a comprehensive strategy and bringing it to life through a detailed plan. Experience in an independent school is not necessary, but an understanding of a lifestyle and aspirational product is essential.
You will ideally have Marketing qualifications, strong digital communication and social media skills, creative copywriting capability and be confident in presenting. Your vision and drive will enable you to influence and inspire others, and this will be matched by your managerial, planning and organisational abilities.
The salary on offer will be negotiable depending on what skills and experience the successful candidate brings to the organisation.
