This Graduate Teaching Assistant role provides valuable school-based experience alongside a clear pathway into Initial Teacher Training (ITT), with the opportunity to gain a PGCE and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

The Role
* Supporting students across KS3 and KS4 Science lessons
* Working closely with teaching staff to raise attainment and engagement
* Providing small group and 1:1 academic support
* Gaining hands‑on classroom experience in a high‑performing secondary setting
* Opportunity to progress onto salaried teacher training / PGCE pathway
Ideal Candidate
* Science graduate or graduating in 2026 (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or related field)
* Passionate about education and supporting young people
* Considering a long‑term career in teaching
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Previous tutoring, mentoring or school experience is desirable but not essential
