Fabric Engineer
Location: Liverpool (Birkenhead)
Contract: minimum 5 months work, may go permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
Rate: £22 per hour
Perks: Contract or temp to perm options available
About the Role
Build Recruitment is currently seeking an experienced Fabric Engineer to join our client's FM maintenance team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a larger residential development, carrying out day‑to‑day carpentry upgrades and general maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
* Carry out a variety of repairs, including plumbing & carpentry
* Deliver high-quality maintenance (PPM & reactive)
* Conduct secondary trade work to a competent standard (e.g., patch plaster, tiling, minor electrical etc.)
* Use of PDA to log jobs
* Maintain excellent customer service throughout your visits
Requirements
* NVQ or City & Guilds L2 intrade (plumbing / plastering / carpentry / tiling)
* Previous experience in a maintenance setting
* Strong communication and customer service skills
* Ability to perform basic secondary trades
