About the role:

Reporting to the Lead Customer Service Assistant, the successful candidate will provide excellent customer service by working front of house and attending to our customers' needs. Based at the FBO Reception, you will greet and assist guests using our facilities, whether for arrivals or departures, offering assistance as required.


Hours:

The successful applicant must be flexible and professional. The Luton base operates 24/7, 365 days a year. You will work as part of a team covering a 24-hour operation, including days, lates, weekends, and bank holidays, typically on a 6 on 3 off shift pattern. The standard shift is 8.5 hours with a 30-minute unpaid break, totaling 9 hours, averaging 40 hours per week. You may be asked to adjust your shift hours to meet business needs, and compliance with such requests is a condition of employment. Initial training will be Monday to Friday.


Responsibilities:

1. Maintain the reception area, passenger/crew lounges, washrooms, and conference rooms to a high standard, ensuring cleanliness and stock levels.
2. Arrange security clearance for visitors and vehicles.
3. Adopt a professional attitude at all times, providing customer service aligned with the Harrods Aviation brand.
4. Be quick-thinking and adaptable to meet the unique requirements of our business.
5. Coordinate and communicate effectively with all departments, managing a busy role efficiently.


About You:

The role requires flexibility, the ability to work under pressure, and strong prioritization skills while maintaining professionalism. Ideal candidates will have proven customer service experience, preferably in a 5-star hospitality environment. An enthusiastic personality, good communication skills, courtesy, integrity, and computer literacy are essential. A full UK driving license and the right to work in the UK are required. A 5-year checkable history is necessary to obtain an airport ID pass.
