The Finance Analyst will support decision-making by providing financial insights and analysis within the industrial and manufacturing sector. This role requires a focus on financial planning, budgeting, and performance management in Nottingham. This is a hybrid position in Nottingham (3 days in the office and 2 from home). Our client is looking for someone who has completed the first stage of either their CIMA / ACCA Qualification. Description Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making. Collaborate with departmental heads to create and monitor budgets. Analyse financial performance and provide actionable insights. Support forecasting processes and identify trends and variances. Prepare detailed financial reports for internal and external stakeholders. Support with month end. Liaise with senior stakeholders. Monitor and manage financial risks to ensure compliance with policies. Work closely with the Accounting & Finance team to improve processes. Provide guidance and recommendations for cost optimisation and efficiency.Profile A successful Finance Analyst should have: Professional qualifications in accounting or finance (CIMA / ACCA). AAT Qualified. Local to Nottingham and able to commute to their offices. Experience within the industrial or manufacturing sector. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in financial modelling and reporting tools. Ability to communicate financial information clearly to stakeholders. Attention to detail and a results-driven mindset. Strong Excel skills.
