We are looking for someone who: can build warm, trusting relationships with very young children can create a safe, calm and nurturing environment will support children’s emotional development, independence and early routines can help every child can reach their full potential in developing a curiosity, independence and a love of learning and in curiosity about the world has an inclusive approach that recognises the potential of children with SEND, EAL or disadvantaged backgrounds is warm, caring and dynamic is forward-thinking and solution focussed has a good sense of humour. Your responsibilities will include: setting up engaging continuous provision supporting high-quality play and exploration modelling language, communication and positive interactions helping children explore, investigate and problem-solve demonstrating respect, courage, and compassion supporting the school’s Church of England values and ethos helping to foster a welcoming, inclusive community where everyone feels valued.
