THE ROLE.
This isn't about audits, but it's about everything else accountancy-related. Management accounts, bookkeeping, company tax, VAT returns, personal tax, tax returns, payroll, year-end accounting – you name it. All with the Moolah Matters touch,

ABOUT YOU.
We're looking for someone proactive, with strong communication and analytical skills.
An all-rounder who loves being part of a team but is also self-motivated and ready to think outside the box to provide exceptional accounting solutions.
Someone who is 100% professional but fun and gets a kick out of working hard and being appreciated.
NON-NEGOTIABLES.
* AAT qualification
* Burning desire to progress and to qualify as certified/chartered accountant
* Three to five years' recent experience in an accountancy practice, i.e. with a wide variety of work across different companies and/or industries
* True flexibility in work requirements and challenges
* Excellent numerical and analytical skills
* IT proficiency and an aptitude for learning new skills and systems
* Home base within easy commuting distance of Stevenage Old Town
* Ability to understand client needs and build deep and meaningful relationships
* Familiarity with and skills in Sage 50, Xero, QuickBooks, SAPA, IRIS, Sage Payroll
DETAILS SCHMETAILS.
* Office-based work, Monday–Friday, 0800–16.00 or 09.00–17.00
* Some WFH days will be considered on a case-by-case basis
* Financed training to (at least) certified/chartered accountant level
