Overview
As a Sessional Tutor, you will provide engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach, adapting to a range of learning styles and abilities to help learners develop knowledge and understanding while delivering high-quality teaching and learning to a group of learners.
£28.92 per hour
Responsibilities
* Deliver engaging teaching, learning and assessment with a creative and supportive approach to teaching, adapting to a range of learning styles and abilities.
* Design and implement innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Use a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
* Understand and apply RARPA as well as the EIF and the quality processes that underpin delivery.
* Work with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
* Maintain a strong working knowledge of OFSTED Education Inspection Framework.
* Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
* Demonstrate a passion for adult education and making a difference.
Qualifications
* Teaching qualification (PCGE, CertEd, DET or equivalent); level 5 specialism (IQA and Assessor qualifications advantageous).
* Experience in design and implementation of innovative learning, schemes of work and lesson plans.
* Experience in a range of initial assessment and diagnostic tools.
* Strong understanding of RARPA, the EIF, and quality processes that underpin delivery.
* Experience of working with adults in hard-to-reach areas who may face multiple barriers to education.
* Strong team work ethic and willingness to collaborate.
