Quorn Foods are delighted to be recruiting for a Mechanical Technician to join our plant engineering function in Billingham.
What you'll be responsible for:
Utilising your existing skills to install, modify, commission, inspect, and maintain assets across the plant to appropriate standards, you will do so whilst considering safety, quality, and cost parameters to achieve long-term equipment integrity and reliability.
You will perform these duties in compliance with Quorn corporate and Environmental, Health & Safety policies, coordinating maintenance work on the plant by adhering to our safe systems of work and procedures such as risk assessment, permit to work authorization, etc.
The role will be a day shift role, across a 37.5-hour working week.
What experience you'll need to have:
* Demonstrable background in a similar role within the FMCG, manufacturing, or chemical industries
* NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Maintenance
* Be a team player with the drive to succeed, effective communication skills, and the ability to develop strong relationships
* A curiosity and aptitude for problem solving as part of continuous improvement
* A self-starter committed to further self-development
