About Us
FIM (Fulcrum Infrastructure Management) is a management services company, managing social infrastructure assets on behalf of our parent company; global infrastructure investment company, Meridiam.
Our Welsh Education Partnership asset (WEPCo) is a joint venture and long-term partnership between the Development Bank of Wales (The Welsh Government) and Meridiam, with a view to design, build, finance, operate and maintain educational infrastructure over 25 years. The WEP teams' role is to facilitate the delivery of new schools and colleges in Wales using the Mutual Investment Model (MIM) developed by the Welsh Government to finance major capital projects.
We have successfully delivered three primary schools and an all-through school, which are in operation, and our first two College campuses are now in construction, with further projects in design development.

About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Information Manager & Compliance Officer to oversee the management, coordination and control of project information in line with the Welsh Government's BIM requirements throughout design development, construction and operational stages. This role is central to ensuring information accuracy, integrity and compliance across all WEPCo projects.
You will manage the smooth and accurate flow of information across the full project lifecycle, administering information management and document control processes within SharePoint and Dalux, ensuring folder structure consistency, maintaining information registers, and ensuring documentation is uploaded, reviewed and shared within required deadlines.
A key part of the role includes coordinating BIM Data Drops in accordance with the Welsh Government BIM Protocol, supporting change control processes, and ensuring information traceability and version control. Working closely with Project Managers, Technical Project Managers and Operational Project Managers, you will ensure that information is compliant, current and aligned to programme requirements.
You will work collaboratively with stakeholders including the Welsh Government, D&B and FM Contractors and design teams. Responsibilities include reviewing submissions for compliance, maintaining accurate compliance records, reporting non‑conformances, and monitoring them through to resolution. You will also identify opportunities to improve folder structures, workflows and information management processes to help enhance consistency, accuracy and efficiency across the programme.
About You
This role is well‑suited to someone with experience in information management, BIM processes, compliance monitoring, and working within construction, infrastructure or facilities management environments.
You will be methodical, highly organised and detail‑focused, with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Strong communication skills, a collaborative approach and the confidence to take ownership of your workload are essential.
Ideally, you will have experience using SharePoint and Dalux, alongside knowledge of BIM workflows, metadata standards, naming conventions and data drop requirements. Experience in information management, document control or compliance in construction or FM environments is highly beneficial.
A degree in a relevant field (such as Business Administration, Construction, Information Management or BIM) or recognised training (e.g., CDC) would be advantageous. Knowledge of PFI, PPP or long‑term operational infrastructure environments would also be beneficial.
You will bring an inclusive, team‑focused approach and positively contribute to a culture aligned with Fulcrum's Mission, Vision and Values.
