A leading multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a highly capable Senior Project Manager to deliver complex refurbishment projects across the education and healthcare sectors in London. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident Senior Project Manager to take ownership of challenging schemes in live, operational environments.
Working within a well-established team, the Senior Project Manager will oversee projects from inception through to completion (RIBA Stages 1-7). The successful candidate will demonstrate proven experience delivering refurbishment works within operational buildings such as schools, hospitals, or similar settings. An ability to manage stakeholder relationships and minimise disruption to the live environment is essential.
The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for leading a junior team of four, ensuring smooth project delivery while providing mentoring and day-to-day guidance. You will manage project timelines, budgets and quality assurance across all phases of work, while reporting progress to senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
* Lead refurbishment projects across all RIBA stages (1-7) in operational environments
* Manage a junior team of four, providing leadership and support
* Coordinate with internal disciplines and external stakeholders
* Maintain project programmes, budgets and risk registers
* Ensure health & safety and compliance across all site activities
* Represent the consultancy at client and design team meetings
Required Experience:
* Demonstrable experience in managing refurbishment projects in live environments (e.g., schools, hospitals)
* Strong technical knowledge and ability to coordinate complex projects
* Experience delivering full lifecycle projects across all RIBA stages
* Previous team leadership or mentoring experience
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Degree qualified in a relevant discipline (e.g., Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering)
* Professional accreditation such as MRICS, MCIOB, RIBA, or MAPM is highly desirable
