Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Senior Occupational Therapist to join a leading mental health and complex care service in Thatcham, Berkshire. Key responsibilities:
As a Senior Occupational Therapist, you will:
Deliver high-quality occupational therapy assessments, care plans, and interventions
Provide clinical leadership and supervision to Occupational Therapists, support workers, and students
Manage a caseload of service users with mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism
Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver effective, person-centred care
Support the development of policies, protocols, and occupational therapy pathways
Liaise with clinicians, carers, external agencies, and stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy and HCPC registration
Post-qualification experience as an OT, ideally within mental health, secure services, or learning disabilities
Strong clinical reasoning and knowledge of assessment and treatment models
Experience in supervision, leadership, and supporting junior staff
Commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous professional development
