Job Description
As a Mechanical Technician within our team, you'll be responsible for providing mechanical and building services engineering maintenance across various client properties.
Your duties will include fault finding, repairs, maintenance, and installations, ensuring that the client's facilities operate seamlessly.

Key Responsibilities
1. Perform scheduled inspections, preventative and corrective maintenance, repairs, adjustments, testing, and troubleshooting of assigned mechanical equipment in accordance with plumbing codes, diagrams, operation manuals and manufacturer's maintenance instructions
2. Observes mechanical systems and fixtures in operation to detect failures or locate causes of malfunctions. Dismantles devices and removes defective parts
3. Inspect used parts and equipment for changes in calibration, dimensional requirements and manufacturer's specifications
4. Test and calibrate systems and equipment to ensure proper system operations using test equipment or precision measuring instruments
5. Lay out work assignments, determines methods, techniques and materials needed to effectively accomplish assignments.
6. Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and Company policies related to building operations and work safety
7. Take responsibility for work and actions to show care
8. Demonstrate honesty to show respect to colleagues, the client and work
9. Ensure to show entrepreneurship by taking corrective action where necessary
10. Deliver a quality service through your day-to-day actions
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
11. Significant experience in providing mechanical building services maintenance to include fault finding, maintenance, installation, and inspection/testing
12. Significant previous experience in providing reactive and PPM building services maintenance
13. Experience of working within FM or building services within commercial properties
14. Experience of working under strict Health & Safety procedures including risk assessments and method statements
15. Evidence Training and competence in managing High Risk Works (Mechanical)
16. Ability to explore a situation, assess and offer different options to formulate a plan that meets or exceeds objectives and expectations
