Responsibilities:
1. Maintaining accurate records of children's progress and development to effectively communicate with parents and caregivers.
2. Developing and nurturing strong relationships with parents and caregivers to support the daily learning and care of the children.
3. Assisting and providing support to fellow nursery staff members.
4. Designing an inclusive environment that caters to the cultural and medical needs of the children.
5. Communicating any concerns related to a child or parent to the Nursery Manager while respecting confidentiality requirements.
6. Adhering to the nursery's policies, procedures, and legislative requirements regarding childcare.
7. Upholding high standards of safety, cleanliness, and hygiene within the nursery.
8. Creating engaging and educational activities that stimulate learning and fun for the children under your care.
The ideal candidate:
- Level 3 qualified in childcare.
- Contribute to a high standard of quality within the nursery, including practice, environment, and resources to meet the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage.
- Adhere to all health and safety policies and procedures.
- Undertake a shared responsibility for cleanliness and health and safety throughout the nursery.
- Salary: £22K to £30K + Bonus + Benefits.
