Availability
This role has required weekly availability windows. The following times are the periods the store would like you to be available to work. Your contracted hours will be scheduled within these times, with three weeks' notice of exact shift times.
* Tue: 16:00–22:00
* Thu: 09:00–18:00
* Sat: 12:00–21:00
Availability may be flexible if your times closely match, but not exactly, to the advertised windows.
Pay
Our Tesco colleague rate of pay starts from £12.45 per hour; this increases to £13.66 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location.
Hours
It is our policy to offer new colleagues a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you would like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12), we have opportunities for this too and would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities
You will be responsible for
* Knowing and serving customers with passion and pride; delivering natural service
* Being knowledgeable about products and services within the store
* Working across service, picking, and replenishment areas as needed
* Applying training to work safely, effectively, and to serve customers well
* Making decisions that are right for customers and delivering store routines that meet customer needs
* Participating in seasonal, community, and charity events to create an inclusive atmosphere
* Understanding store performance and your role in driving service, sales, reducing waste and shrink, and delivering profit
* Handling products with care to maintain quality
* Upholding Tesco values and policies, making everyone feel welcome
* Occasionally assisting with deliveries into the store
