Payroll Administrator- 6-month fixed term contract\nHybrid working arrangement - 3 days a week to be based at our European HQ in Erdington\n\nClaire's is a global brand at the forefront of fashion and accessories, and our people are at the heart of our success. We are currently looking for a Payroll Specialist to support our payroll operations in the UK & Ireland.\n\nThis role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced, international environment where accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration are key.\n\nWhat You'll Be Doing:\nAs a Payroll Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring payroll data is accurately collected, processed, and validated in line with each country's payroll cycle. Key responsibilities include:\n\nGathering and checking payroll data from Workday before submitting it to our payroll providers.\nRunning validation reports and spotting any errors before payroll is processed.\nSupporting managers and employees with payroll-related questions in line with our Service Level Agreements (SLA).\nPartnering with management teams, offering guidance and training to ensure accurate and timely payroll submissions.\nCollaborating with payroll providers to quickly resolve any issues.\nReviewing payroll reports and payment files to ensure everything is correct.\nManaging bonus payments, salary reviews, and responding to ad-hoc requests.\nKeeping our payroll Knowledge Base up to date with country-specific processes.\nHelping with systems testing, payroll-related projects, and training initiatives.\nWhat We're Looking For:\nTo be successful in this role you should have:\n\nSolid payroll experience, specifically working with UK Payroll\nYear-end payroll process knowledge and a solid understanding of payroll compliance.\nIntermediate Excel skills with a strong analytical mindset.\nA high level of accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring payroll is processed efficiently.\nA collaborative approach, with the ability to prioritise tasks in a dynamic environment.\nA proactive mindset, seeking opportunities to improve processes and solve problems effectively.Location & Work Arrangement\n\nHybrid (3 days a week in our European HQ in Birmingham, UK).\nThis is a 6-month contract to support our payroll transformation project.\nThis is an excellent opportunity to work within an international team, gain exposure to multi-country payroll processes, and contribute to a key transformation project within a globally recognised brand.\n\n Claire's is an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and we encourage applications from members of all underrepresented groups, including those with disabilities.
