About the role The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for designing and developing high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development best practices, be able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, and be passionate about delivering innovative software solutions. The successful candidate for this role will be part of a development team, working on a dynamic PDF editor product that transforms the way you work with documents. Allowing users to easily modify, annotate, and convert files while creating an accessible and collaborative workspace for all. Responsibilities: Design and develop high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers Participate in the development of technical documentation Contribute to the development of our overall software development process, including code reviews, version control, and continuous integration/continuous delivery Work alongside our UX designers to implement the best user interface and user experience Work with our Infrastructure team who will assist with hosting and server configurations, and ensure that all software meets the highest standards of security Work with the QA team to ensure the software meets our high quality standards Participate in Agile development practices, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives Continuously improve and optimise our software architecture and development processes Mentor and train junior developers on our team Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in software development Essential Criteria 3 years’ experience in a client and server side Javascript development role at an intermediate level using HTML and CSS Experience of web development technologies (e.g., React, Redux, Angular) Experience of development using database technologies (e.g., SQL, Postgres, Redis) Strong understanding of software development best practices, including design patterns, data structures, and algorithms Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies quickly Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git, Devops) Experience of development using cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) Desirable Criteria Experience working in an Agile development environment Experience of working with UNIX operating systems Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g. Azure devops, Pipelines etc. ) Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence Knowledge of Browser Extensions and Add-ons (if appropriate) Knowledge of secure coding practises for web development - eg: OWASP Top 10 Knowledge of Terraform Please submit your application on out website by 15th August 2025.
