Hours - 37 per week
Fixed term contract until 31 March 2026

Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Secretariat Team for an experienced administrator/secretary to provide day to day secretarial and administrative support to a Director and Heads of Service at Sandwell Children's Trust. The Trust is looking to appoint an outstanding individual who can demonstrate that they have a track record of successful delivery, the required skills and experience; and can perform to a high standard in a challenging environment. You will be part of a successful Secretariat Team, working in a fast paced and rewarding environment. The Team continues to build on previous success, strengthening and enhancing the support to Directors and Heads of Service.
Main responsibilities include:
* Co-ordinate, administer meetings and produce accurate minutes
* Diary management
* Email management
* Administration of panels which are chaired by Director and Head of Service

What you need to be successful in this role
* Have previous experience of providing secretarial support.
* Hold NVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent.
* Able to demonstrate experience of using Microsoft packages.
* Experience of taking notes/minutes of meetings.
* Excellent organisational skills and the ability to plan and organise diaries.
* Have excellent communication skills and a good attention to detail.
* Be self-motivated and able to work with minimum supervision.
