As a Distribution Centre Manager, you'll be responsible for the overall management, performance, and safety of the depot. This includes overseeing daily operations, managing teams, ensuring customer satisfaction, KPIs, and maintaining compliance with company policies and regulations. You'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize processes to achieve operational excellence.

Your role as Distribution Centre Manager:
* Responsible for fostering a culture of operational excellence using continuous improvement/lean methodologies, focusing on eliminating waste while ensuring Safety, Service, Cost, and Environmental standards are met.
* Implement cultural changes within the distribution operation prioritizing safety and continuous improvement at all levels.
* Ensure on-time and in-full delivery targets are consistently met.
* Enhance employee engagement across the site.
* Manage the site P&L and budget, mitigating risks and capitalizing on opportunities.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure confidence and satisfaction with service delivery.
* Maintain statutory compliance and governance, including adherence to O licence requirements.
What you'll bring:
* Experience with operational excellence and lean methodologies.
* Project management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Management experience within logistics, supply chain, or operations.
* Proven leadership abilities, with skills in motivating and developing diverse teams to achieve results and engagement.
* Strong understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control.
