Your Role
As a Vehicle Mechanic at Babcock International, you will:
* Support the equipment and vehicles used by our defence customers.
* Perform servicing, maintenance, repairs, and modifications with precision.
* Inspect and diagnose faults in both civilian and military vehicles.
* Repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems in line with your skills.
* Conduct equipment examinations to meet production requirements.

What Do You Need?
To be successful in this role, you should have:
* Previous experience in a similar role (essential).
* NVQ Level 3 in Service and Repair or an equivalent qualification (essential).
* Proficiency in hydraulics (required).
* Experience working in a dealership or local garage (advantageous).
* A real team player attitude with the ability to adapt and build rapport.
* The ability to achieve and maintain SC security clearance.
This position involves manual work, including lifting, bending, using tools, and standing for extended periods. The successful candidate will need to pass a targeted medical questionnaire and/or examination as a condition of employment.
