Pay rate as a Warehouse Operative: Day shift: £12.21p/h | Night shift: £13.00p/h after 12 weeks £14.25 Typical hours as a Recycling Warehouse Operative: Day shift: 6AM-6PM Night Shift: 6PM-6AM Flexible shifts - typically 4 on 4 off, but this cannot be guaranteed Must be available to work weekends. The Recycling Warehouse Operative role includes: Loading plastic food trays onto a conveyor belt, the trays are unloaded at the other end and returned to the suppliers Unloading cages and trays from trailers, and taking them to a baling machine, where the cardboard and plastic is then pressed into bales, which come out at the other end You must enjoy physical work as you will be on your feet throughout the shifts.
