Job Title: Procurement Manager
Salary: £50,000 – £60,000 + benefits
Location: Hybrid / London HQ, with occasional travel to regional businesses
Are you ready to own procurement, not just process purchase orders?
This is a role for someone commercially sharp, confident in negotiation and ready to become the person who brings structure, discipline and value to a growing renewable energy group.
You may be a Buyer, Senior Buyer, Supply Chain Specialist or Procurement Manager who has been doing the heavy lifting already, but without the title, ownership or visibility you deserve.
Why this role
The business is scaling quickly across residential solar, battery storage, EV charging and wider renewable technologies. With multiple regional entities, supplier relationships, stock flows and purchasing habits already in play, the opportunity now is to bring everything together into one clear, commercially strong procurement function.
You will not be walking into a rigid corporate environment where every SOP is already written. This is a transition-stage role where your confidence, judgement and ability to create order will matter every day.
What you’ll do
You will take ownership of procurement and supply chain activity across the group, working closely with sales, operations, finance and regional leaders. You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate pricing and credit terms, support product decisions, and help ensure the right kit reaches the right place at the right time.
A major part of the role will be standardising purchasing behaviour. That means creating a clear purchase order process, reducing rogue ordering, consolidating supplier spend and making sure regional teams follow agreed supplier terms and pricing structures.
You will also help shape future supply chain capability as the group expands, including stock management, warehousing models, regional hubs and new commercial opportunities across PV, BESS, heat pumps and related technologies.
About the company
This is a fast-growing, well-backed renewable energy group with an entrepreneurial culture and serious growth ambitions. The leadership team is investing in professional systems, in-house capability and stronger commercial foundations, while keeping the pace and ownership of a scale-up.
About you
You will have experience in procurement, supply chain, buying or commercial negotiation. Renewable energy experience would be useful, but it is not essential. Manufacturing, construction, installation, engineering, building products or project-led environments could all translate well.
What matters most is that you understand the full purchasing workflow, can negotiate credibly with suppliers, and have the character to influence internal teams who may be used to doing things their own way.
Rewards & growth
You will receive £50,000 – £60,000, benefits, hybrid working, 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, pension and potential share option participation. You will be joining a high-visibility function with real scope to shape how the group buys, scales and protects margin.
