The Role

As
Head of Business Development
, you'll lead our sales function while managing your own sales territory. With two Regional Business Development Managers reporting into you, your focus will be on:

* Driving growth of commercial sales of solar PV and biomass systems
* Expanding servicing and maintenance contracts with commercial clients
* Leading and inspiring your team to achieve ambitious growth targets

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who excels at presenting technical solutions in a compelling, straight forward way to commercial and agricultural clients.

In-depth knowledge of renewable energy technology is advantageous but not essential.
Our excellent commercial team will provide training and ongoing technical support and our highly experienced internal sales team will support clients throughout their entire project.

About You

We're looking for a motivated sales leader who:

* Has a strong track record in B2B sales of technical products or solutions
* Brings excellent relationship-building skills through a consultative sales approach
* Enjoys winning new business while developing long-term partnerships
* Can build trust and credibility with both commercial and agricultural customers
* Has leadership experience or the ambition to step up into team management
* Can present renewable energy ROI models and funding options (finance, PPA, etc)
* Utilises Hubspot CRM or similar to track leads, client engagement and data reporting
* Holds a full UK driving licence and is happy to travel regularly across the region
