This role offers the chance to inspire academically ambitious students, nurture intellectual curiosity, and promote confidence in mathematical reasoning from Key Stage 3 through to Key Stage 4, with the opportunity to teach Key Stage 5 for suitable candidates.
About the Role
As a Teacher of Maths, you will:
* Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
* (Desirable) Teach A-Level Maths and/or Further Maths at KS5
* Differentiate effectively to stretch and challenge learners of varying abilities
* Monitor, assess, and report on student progress with precision
* Contribute to enrichment opportunities, intervention sessions, or academic mentoring
* Support the wider life of the school, including extracurricular activities where appropriate
What We're Looking For
To be considered, candidates must have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
* Experience teaching Maths at secondary level
* Strong subject knowledge and a passion for academic excellence
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
Desirable:
* Experience teaching Key Stage 5 (A-Level Maths or Further Maths)
* A proven track record of strong GCSE and/or A-Level outcomes
* Experience within an independent or high-performing school setting
* A reflective, adaptable, and student-centred teaching approach
