Overview
We are looking for an enthusiastic Consultant Neurologist to join our existing team of Consultants and Specialist Nurses to support the Neurology service provided across the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT).
This post represents an addition to enhance the Neurology Services across the East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust and in particular help meet the rising demand for neurology clinic appointments. This post is full-time (10PA) and predominantly Outpatient based.
We will encourage the successful applicant to develop a specialist interest to expand or complement the existing service. Mentoring and development opportunities will be available to recently qualified applicants in the fields represented by our existing senior consultants, but we would also welcome the addition of new specialist interests to complement the existing services.
Requirements
Applicants who are unable to work full-time for personal reasons are invited to apply, as are those wishing to job share. Applicants are required to hold a CCT in Neurology or be within six months of accreditation by the interview date. Please note: Applicants should be a holder of Certificate of Completion of Training or be within six months of the award of CCT by the date of the interview or the equivalent (CESR) which is at the time of applying, on the GMC Specialist Register.
