We are working on behalf of a well-established organisation who are looking to add a skilled Forklift Operator to their team. You’ll play a vital role in ensuring materials and goods are moved smoothly and safely throughout the site and will be working alongside a hardworking and friendly team, with the chance to develop your skills in a professional and forward-thinking environment!What we're looking for:
* Valid forklift licence
* Manual handling training or experience
* Previous experience in a similar role within a warehouse, factory or logistics environment
* A good understanding of health and safety practices
* A proactive and reliable team player
* Flexible attitude towards shifts and overtime when needed
The finer elements of the role include:
* Operate forklifts (e.g., counterbalance, reach truck) safely and effectively
* Load and unload goods from vehicles and storage areas
* Transport materials to designated areas on site
* Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults
* Support warehouse and production teams with manual handling when required
* Maintain accurate records of goods moved using paperwork or digital systems
* Ensure stock is stored and rotated correctly
