Locum Employment Solicitor - Dudley (Local Authority role) Contract role Hourly rate negotiable Full time role Dealing with employment law matters (preparing and conducting own cases, complying with tribunal directions, disclosure, witness statements, preparing bundles, settlement agreements) including representing the Directors at disciplinary hearings, appeal committees and the Employment Tribunal as required, advising officers and Members including at disciplinary hearings and appeals. The provision of legal advice either verbally and/or in writing to Directorates, Officers and Elected Members as and when required. Drafting ET3 responses. Providing TUPE advice. Instructing Counsel to act or appeal on behalf of the Council in circumstances where the best interests of the Council so require. Any other tasks which may from time to time be delegated to the post holder by the Head of Law & Governance and/or Principal Lawyer (Corporate & Litigation Services).
