Overview
We are looking for a skilled and proactive Commercial, Construction & Agricultural Engineer to join our growing company based in the St Albans area. This role suits someone with solid mechanical knowledge, a strong focus on safety, workmanship and the ability to manage their workload efficiently.
Responsibilities
The company operates a variety of commercial vehicles and your role would be to carry out fault finding, servicing, repairs of DAF HGVs, JCB plant and John Deere tractors. Experience of carrying out HGV brake testing and practical knowledge of hydraulic systems and automotive electrical systems.
Qualifications
You are likely to have a mechanical engineering qualification and a natural inquisitive mind with all things mechanical. IRTEC qualifications. You will need to be a car driver due to location. It is a yard based role.
Salary & Benefits
In return the company offers a salary of between £45,000 - £65,000 per annum, potential overtime, company van and more.
Hours
Hours are Monday to Friday and the opportunity to work across a number of plant.
