Yard Operative / Forklift Driver
The Best Connection is currently recruiting for an experienced Yard Operative / Forklift Driver to join a busy and well-established Client based in Paisley for a Temporary on going position
This is a hands-on role within a fast-paced yard environment, working with customers while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of operations.

Key Duties:
* Serving customers and assisting with orders in a professional manner
* Operating a forklift to move and load materials safely
* Picking and preparing orders accurately for collection or delivery
* Loading and unloading vehicles efficiently
* Handling a wide range of building and construction materials
* Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard at all times
* Adhering to all health & safety procedures

What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience within a warehouse (builders' merchant or similar environment)
* Good knowledge of building materials is preferred but not essential
* Valid forklift licence (essential)
* Strong customer service and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Good awareness of health & safety in a yard setting
