SEN Teaching Assistant – 1:1 Support (Bridport Primary School) Full-Time | Monday to Friday | Long-Term Role £85–£95 per day | September 2025 Start Are you a caring and committed individual with a passion for supporting children with additional needs? Teaching Personnel is working closely with a nurturing and inclusive primary school in Bridport to recruit a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a pupil with special educational needs. This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday, starting in September 2025 and continuing throughout the academic year. About the role: Working 1:1 with a pupil with diagnosed SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, or SEMH) Supporting learning, emotional regulation and social development Implementing strategies from the child’s EHCP with guidance from the SENCO Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in the classroom The ideal candidate will: Have experience supporting children with additional needs (school or care setting) Be patient, resilient, and calm under pressure Have good communication skills and be confident building positive relationships Hold or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS on the Update Service What Teaching Personnel offers: Weekly pay via PAYE – £85–£95 per day (no agency fees) Access to free and subsidised CPD courses, including Autism Awareness and Team Teach Ongoing guidance from your personal consultant, Beth Maxwell A supportive school environment with opportunities for long-term development This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the life of a child who needs consistent, compassionate support.
