Main duties of the job
Inthis role, you will be:
Collecting, organising, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of internal andexternal data systems.
Using businessintelligence platforms and statistical techniques to provide ad-hoc and scheduled reports, dashboards and dataselections to the organisation.
Developing interactive visualisations to enable insightand track key performance indicators.
Producing board packs for senior leadership and trustees in collaboration with the business.
Producing reports for any regulatory, compliance or benchmarkingpurposes.
Developing and maintaining data infrastructure andmodels to support efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.
Monitoring and auditing data quality, makingrecommendations for improvements where appropriate.
Building and developing relationships with internalclients and stakeholders to fully understand data usage and content.
Gathering, understanding and documenting detailedbusiness requirements using appropriate tools and techniques.
Collaborating with the Application Development Team toalign data initiatives with systems development, ensuring seamless integrationof data pipelines and storage solutions.
Assisting the Data & Insight Manager with any dataor IG governance tasks.

Position of the role in Claire House
The post holder reports to the Data & Insight Manager and is part of the D&I team.
Main duties and responsibilities
Collecting, organising, analysing and interpreting data from a variety of internal and external data systems.
Using business intelligence platforms and statistical techniques to provide ad-hoc and scheduled reports, dashboards and data selections to the organisation.
Developing interactive visualisations to enable insight and track key performance indicators.
Producing board packs for senior leadership and trustees in collaboration with the business.
Producing reports to support bids and tenders for trusts and funders.
Producing reports for any regulatory, compliance or benchmarking purposes.
Developing and maintaining data infrastructure and models to support efficient data processing, storage, and retrieval.

Identifying areas to increase efficiency and automation of processes.
Monitoring and auditing data quality, making recommendations for improvements where appropriate.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Educated to A Level Standard or above.
* 5 GCSEs or equivalent Inc., Maths & English.
* Undertaking or possessing a recognised qualification in BI based tools, coding or report writing.
Personal Attributes/Abilities
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing.
* Pragmatic and flexible approach to working with people of varying data literacy.
* Understanding confidentiality principles.
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise, analyse and disseminate information with high attention to detail.
Experience
* Proven experience as a data analyst.
* Knowledge and experience with business intelligence platforms (Power BI, Business objects, tableau, etc), databases (SQL), programming (Python, Power Query M, etc).
* Knowledge of statistics and experience in using statistical packages for analysing datasets (Excel, SPSS,SAS etc).
Skills
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Adept at writing queries, reports and presenting findings.
* Proficiency in statistical analysis and data mining techniques.
