Vehicle Technician required in Stroud.
1. Starting salary up to £25-43,000 per annum pending experience/qualifications plus overtime.
2. Flexible 39 hour week Monday to Friday with optional Saturday mornings.

Our client, an independent family-run garage situated in Stroud, are currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their business.
Reporting to the Workshop Manager and working as part of a long-standing team in a contemporary workshop environment, as a Vehicle Technician your main duties will include carrying out fault diagnosis, service, maintenance and repairs on customer's vehicles as instructed to the standards laid down by our client. You will need to ensure any faults are accurately diagnosed and report to the Service Manager as required on vehicle condition, safety, reliability and performance. You will also need to ensure that healthy and safety as well as work quality procedures laid down by our client are adhered to at all times.
On occasions you will also be required to assist on the front desk regarding booking in/out work and any general inquiries from customers regarding their vehicles.
In order to be eligible you need to have at least several years strong practical experience working as a Vehicle Technician within an employed capacity, preferably within a similar independent garage environment, and have a UK driving license with minimal points. An IMI/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair as well as an active MOT licence would be highly advantageous to our client however this is non-essential.
Overall, you will need to be a team player, be capable of working to the standards of our client's business, have an organised and methodical approach to your workload with a high standard of workmanship and be comfortable working in an independent garage.
