Known for its strong focus on academic achievement and emotional wellbeing, the school is seeking a dedicated Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their supportive team this January.
About the Role
As an HLTA, you will play a central role in enriching pupils’ learning across the school. Working alongside teaching staff, you will help deliver engaging lessons, lead targeted interventions, and support planning and assessment. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is eager to make a positive and meaningful impact in a vibrant school environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the planning and delivery of high-quality, engaging lessons
* Lead one-to-one and small group learning sessions
* Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment
* Support pupils’ emotional and pastoral development
* Prepare resources and assist with tracking pupil progress
* Provide tailored support for children with additional needs
* Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and wider school staff
What We’re Looking For
* Experience as an HLTA or in a senior classroom support role
* A proactive, enthusiastic approach to supporting learning
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* A commitment to inclusive practice and supporting diverse learning needs
* HLTA qualification or equivalent (highly desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
